Thoughts on Wednesday night...
First of all, do you like the new title of the blog?
I would love to hear your thoughts about our "focus group" from Wednesday night, Kristen and Trent. I have thoughts of my own, but I'd love to know what you took away from their comments and suggestions. I'll wait until Monday or Tuesday to add my two cents. Use the comments section to discuss what you gained from that experience.

I thought Wednesday was great! It was really great of Kristen and Trent to share with us. I don't think I would have been that brave! I guess overall what I took was that they were saying they really didn't care about the nuts and bolts of church, but about the sencerity of the group. I thought that was a refreshing way to look at this whole thing. Lost or disconnected people may just be looking for a sincere group of caring people who are notjudging them from moment one, but who provide a safe environment for them to work out their salvation and understanding of God.
I have to say, I am becoming very excited about all this! We visited our church in Nashville this morning, and it was great to see God working there. The church in Nasville was a Church plant with a similar mission as ours.
Anyway, hope my comments make sense. We just got in and so we are pretty tired!! See you all Wednesday!

Also, I like the new title of the blog! And, I had a thought about the logo. I had an idea of some kind of symbol, i.e. a cross, something, blah, blah, with the mosaic being different faces and scenes from around Versailles. Just an idea!!

I really enjoyed Wednesday night as well! I was encouraged by some of their comments such as not caring how we "do" worship or offering, but our honesty in building relationships. Not just to add them to our scorecard, but that we really care about developing relationships. There were several comments that did surprise me like the one about surveying. Anyway, I'd like to do another focus group again sometime. I was sad to learn that both Kristin and Trent were moving away. I think they'd really like what were are planning to do for Versailles!
I am sorry I will be out of town for the next three weeks, right as our chruch is taking it's first baby steps with possible new members.If someone thinks about it could you possibly let the Hamilton's know we are opening the gates to everyone. They may be interested. I am looking forward to coming back and seeing how we have grown! Arron, I love the idea of using faces and scenes from Versailles in our own Mosaic logo!!!
PS Ask Brian this Wednesday what he thought of Quest this past weekend......
